In case you missed it... *tear*
Gas Games was a Major Success!!!! We had ten competitively-driven teams ready to "Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive, and Dodge" and score their team some sweet gas cards. We had a tournament of Dodge Ball, Lightning Basketball, Rock Band 2 (Was "Eye of the Tiger" stuck in anyone else's head other than mine?), and the incredible boat race we had across the Mariners Church Lake. Who knew you could make a boat out of cardboard, duct tape, and a trash bag, and safely get across the lake. Oh, wait... It was all good though, it just turned into more of a freestyle/"Abandon Ship!" Thanks to all of you enthusiastic and gutsy Pirates who volunteered/were forced by their team to get into those cardboard masterpieces and paddle through that freezing cold water.

We even had two brave souls volunteers to go BACK IN to get Team Shell's boat which sadly sank to the bottom.... unfortunately, I was not aware that someone had already gone in and gotten our sunken ship. Sorry Bryce and Kristen! But thanks for being such troopers! :)
Here's some of the pictures we took of the event, you can see more photos of this event, and other events as well, if you click on the slideshow to the right of this page.
All the competitors gathering together to hear the rules of the highly anticipated
GAS GAMES 2009!

Dude... this team even made their own shirts!!! Bonus points!

Team Shell... before the sinking...

Two totally pro rockers, even though one of them was watching the wrong side of the screen for two of the three shots. Epic fail, but we still love her :) :) xoxo

On your marks!!!...

It's Sail, Sink, or Swim!!! Bonus points awarded to the team who made it across the Lake the most dry... Still not quite sure how Bryce did it, considering everyone else sank and swam.

Some of the competition!

And the winners are... Team Costco!!
